Laser Mayhem Booking Terms and Conditions.
By booking activities at Laser-Mayhem, you are deemed to have read and accepted the following terms and conditions.
Laser-Mayhem can be contacted via telephone 07624234555 or via email carl@laser-mayhem.com
Bookings
• Payment Submission: Full payment for all bookings is required at least 14 days prior to the event date. Payments can be processed by contacting us at 07624234555 or via our online booking portal.
• Group Integration: To ensure balanced and competitive gameplay, individual bookings will be integrated with other groups. All participants will be divided into two teams at the discretion of our staff to maintain an equitable distribution of players.
• Weather Policy: Our operations continue in all weather conditions throughout the year. We do not issue refunds for non-attendance due to inclement weather. In the event of severe weather (e.g., snow, high winds, or thunderstorms) where the Site Manager deems conditions unsafe for operation, all affected bookings will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
• Session Requirements: While there is no minimum number required to place a booking, a minimum of 10 players is required to conduct a session. Should this minimum not be met, we will notify the booking organiser 7 days in advance to facilitate rescheduling. A booking of 10 players guarantees that the session will proceed as scheduled.
• Capacity and Adjustments: If additional participants are required on the day of the event, we will make every effort to accommodate them, subject to equipment availability.
• Booking organisers are requested to notify us on 07624234555 as soon as possible if the number of participants exceeds the original booking.
Payment
• Reservation and Payment Terms: While a deposit is not required to reserve a booking, full payment must be received no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled activity date. Failure to meet this deadline may result
in the automatic cancellation of the reservation. • Last-Minute Bookings: For any reservations made within 14 days of the event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Non-Attendance Policy: Refunds will not be issued for players who fail to attend their scheduled session. • Credit Policy: In the event that booked spaces are not utilised, the issuance of credit is at the sole discretion of the Site Manager. Any credit granted must be redeemed within six (6) months of the original booking date.
Health and Safety
• Risk Acknowledgment: While our activities are thoroughly risk-assessed and supervised by trained personnel, participants should be aware that Combat Laser Games can be physically and mentally demanding. By participating, players and their guardians acknowledge that inherent hazards exist within an outdoor, woodland laser tag environment.
• Age Eligibility: Participation is restricted to individuals currently in School Year 1 or above.
• Disclaimers: All participants, or their parent/legal guardian (for those under 18), must sign a liability waiver prior to the commencement of the session. It is the express responsibility
of the booking party to ensure all waivers are completed in advance. Participation will be strictly denied to any individual for whom a completed disclaimer is not on file. • Mandatory Safety Briefing: All participants are required to attend a comprehensive safety briefing delivered by our staff before entering the playing fields.
• Arrival and Briefing Compliance: The party booker/organiser is responsible for ensuring all group members are present at the scheduled time of the safety briefing. In the event of a late arrival, staff will make every reasonable effort to provide an abbreviated briefing, though entry remains subject to operational capacity and safety assessments.
Taser-Mayhem Hypershock
• Eligibility and Age Restriction: The Tazer-Mayhem Hypershock system is an optional feature available exclusively to participants aged 14 years and older.
• Booking Requirements: To guarantee availability, participants are strongly encouraged to pre-book the Hypershock system through our official website prior to arrival.
• Safety and Operation: The Hypershock system is designed for safe use by healthy individuals when operated in strict accordance with the provided instructions. To ensure this safety, placement of shock pads is restricted to approved locations only and must be performed solely by our trained staff. Unauthorised placement or self-application of pads is strictly prohibited.
• Usage Limitations: Use of the Hypershock system must cease immediately if the participant experiences more than mild discomfort or if the skin is broken in the area of contact. In such instances, participants must promptly remove the pads and disconnect the unit from the head sensor assembly.
• Medical Exemptions: The Hypershock system is not to be used for individuals with pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), or similar medical devices. • Pre-existing Health Conditions: Individuals with a history of heart conditions, epilepsy, or other significant medical concerns are required to consult with a qualified medical professional prior to utilising the Hypershock system to determine its suitability.
Personal Belongings and Car Park
• Personal Property: Laser-Mayhem accepts no liability or responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal effects or belongings brought onto the premises. Participants are strongly advised to secure all valuables and refrain from bringing non-essential items to the venue.
• Vehicular Liability: All vehicles brought onto the property and parked within our designated parking facilities remain the sole responsibility of the owner. Laser-Mayhem assumes no liability for damage to, or theft of, vehicles or their contents while on site. All vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.
Photographs, Marketing and Social Media
• Photography and Media Recording: Laser-Mayhem may occasionally capture photographs or video footage of participants during activities for promotional and marketing purposes.
• Usage and Distribution: Such media may be published on the official company website and associated social media platforms.
• Privacy Protections: In accordance with our privacy standards, we will not publish the full names of any players alongside their images.
• Opt-Out Procedure: Should any participant or legal guardian prefer not to be included in promotional materials, it is the
responsibility of the party organiser or parent to notify management in writing prior to the commencement of the session.
Supervision of Children
• Supervisory Responsibility: While our first-aid-certified marshals provide supervision and emergency assistance within the designated playing fields, the responsibility for the conduct and safety of children remains with the party organiser, parents, or legal guardians while in party areas, the car park, and all other common areas.
• Authorised Access: To ensure site security and safety, participants are restricted to designated areas only, specifically within the mock battlefield (when accompanied by a marshal), the party areas, and toilet facilities. Access to any other areas of the site is strictly prohibited.
• Restricted Areas: The reception and armoury areas are restricted to staff only. Participants are permitted to enter these areas only upon explicit invitation and supervision by a member of our staff.
• Car Park Safety: The car park is a designated vehicle zone. It is strictly prohibited for children to play games or congregate in this area at any time.
• Emergency Support: Our staff are fully trained in first aid and remain available throughout the session to provide assistance for any injuries or to address inquiries from guests. Behaviour of Guests
• Respectful Conduct: All players must treat staff, marshals, and other players with respect.
Harassment, verbal abuse, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in
immediate removal from the premises without a refund. • Zero Tolerance for Physical Contact: This is a "no-contact" game. Deliberate physical contact,
including pushing, tackling, wrestling, or blocking opponents, is strictly prohibited.
• Prohibited Movements: For safety reasons, players are not permitted to climb or jump on arena
obstacles/man made hedges. Players must keep at least one foot on the ground at all times.
• Equipment Handling: All laser tag guns and sensors must be handled with care. Any player found intentionally damaging, swinging, or throwing equipment will be held financially liable for the cost of repairs or replacement and may be asked to leave immediately.
• Safe Language Policy: We maintain a family-friendly environment. Profanity, offensive language, or aggressive shouting is not permitted within the arena or the waiting areas. • Adherence to Staff Instructions: Referees and staff have full authority during games. Players must
follow all verbal instructions and safety signals immediately, including signals to stop play or exit
the arena.
• Prohibited Items: No food, drink, or chewing gum is allowed on the playing fields. Players under
the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs will be denied entry to the game for the safety of themselves and others.
• Fair Play: Cheating, such as covering sensors, attempting to manipulate the laser taggers, or
disregarding the rules, will result in warnings and potential disqualification from the session.
• Termination of Play: Laser -Mayhem reserves the right to terminate a player's session at any time if, in the opinion of our staff, the player is acting in a manner that compromises the safety of others or the integrity of our equipment. No refunds will be provided for sessions terminated due to misconduct.
